Sundays

We have 1 o'clock church.

It is nice in the morning, not having to rush...plenty of time to get ready and plan our lessons...

but the boys get a bit restless.  And right as it is time to head for church, it also happens to be nap time.

And Mason's reverence at church has gotten a little tricky...but over time he's getting better.

Luckily, Mason loves nursery. He knows it comes after the closing prayer.  But he doesn't know which prayer is the closing prayer.  So after the opening prayer he gets exciting, saying "toys!"

And with each song he is sure we are about to have the closing prayer.

The poor kid is always disappointed.

Landon on the other hand is great at being reverent with us.  

But going to sunday school with friends he gets wiggly. And when he was given the Reverent Award, he was so excited...but now he truly believes he doesn't need to be reverent anymore, 

because you can only get the Reverent Award once.  So he is done.  I feel for his poor teacher!

And, each week in nursery they do some coloring about their lesson.  

Mason's is always a minimal scribble...but he is so proud to bring home some "school work" like Landon does. So on the fridge goes all of these papers with a tiny little scribble in the corner.
