Our California Trip was a blast. We stayed at Sharon and Geoff's house...and to enter through the Gate at the front entrance, we would say, "Smyres for the Gates"...since Smyres was already on the list and that way we could by pass them calling each time just for us to get in. Well, the boys already love making each other say a password to come into their rooms or pass them in the hallway etc. so when they saw us use this "real" password, to make the gate open, they were so impressed. So now, when they play around the house asking, "what's the password?" We now hear them say, "Smyres for the Gates."
Staying at Sharon's was so fun. There is never a dull moment. The boys loved playing and following Max and Dylan around. They loved all the treats and toys from Sharon and Geoff. And we had fun outings and activities planned all day long. In fact, it was very fun filled and as most trips are...we we're all very tired. So dad did his usual napping:
We also headed to Six Flags. We had initially planned on a Disneyland trip, but since Alyssa and Lance just got back from Disney World and with the new baby, we figured we would go to Disneyland when we could make it a full day. We didn't say anything to the boys, but as we entered Six Flags, Landon said, "This doesn't look all that exciting, where are all the sparkles?"
Boy this kid, is his momma's boy! We were made for Disneyland. Mason, on the other hand knew no different. And they did both enjoy the day, especially all the Superheroes. And even though it wasn't Disneyland, I sure enjoyed going on "real" roller coasters.
