Family Tradition (a new one), Fast Sunday, and Five Guys!

My parents have a tradition where the Saturday before Fast Sunday, they go out to eat early to start their fast together as a family.  This helps make it fun, easier to remember, and sets the tone for the rest of the night and sabbath.  Dallas and I have been talking about it, especially because sometime...sadly...we forget or realize late on Saturday night that it is Fast Sunday weekend.  So we wanted to make an extra effort to be better about this and we decided to adapt my parents' tradition for our own family.

To start our "F"irst "F"ast sunday "F"amily tradition...we headed to "F"ive Guys!  It is a burger resturant from the east coast that is similar to In-N-Out's style.  Relatively simple, fresh fries, and even in the colors of red and white.  It is pretty new in the Mesa area and we'd been wanting to try it.  We loved it, they loaded the burgers with lots of veggies and sauce, my personal favorite, and their fries were thick and fresh!
